Jammin’ with the Hubby

Last night the hubby and I made Peach Thyme Jam from the Canning for a New Generation Cookbook. It took us about two hours, and the jam never really set- it’s still pretty juicy like the Strawberry Orange Surprise jam.  I think it may be related to the low sugar content, but the taste is OUTSTANDING. I had some on toast this morning- and I love how the thyme just peaks out from underneath the peaches. Delish! I can’t wait to take this with me to the next Commune Potluck to taste with cheese and crackers.

I’m still working on the fancy camera pictures, so here are a few more taken outside in the back yard under the shady tree.

We’re off to the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival this weekend- so I’ll have some news when we get back. I’m taking an Intro to Dyeing class on Saturday- so I’ll have some lovely yarn to bring home as a result! Yummy.
